It monitor integrated grid operation for quality, security & realiability of power supply in the state of orissa in co-ordination with erldc.it exercises supervision and control over the intra-state transmission system. It keeps accounts of the quantity of electricity transmitted through the state grids. it is responsible for carrying out real time operations for grid control and despatch of electricity within the state of orissa through secure and economic operation.
